Setting Windows Folder / File permissions in Plesk |
Prerequisites
Note : While you can manually set the permissions via Windows, these changes may be overridden when you request Plesk to reset permissions. If the changes are set via Plesk, they will therefore remain if you ever need to migrate or upgrade the subscription. Step : 1Log into Plesk.Step : 2Click on Files Tab.Step : 3Navigate to the last directory you wish to change the permissions for. In this example, we're modifying the "Resources" directory.Step : 4On the right hand side of the folder click on the drop down then "Change Permissions" :Step : 5Click on the appropriate User from left e.g. (IWAM_plesk(default)) next adjust the permissions as required on the right > then Ok to save.Step : 6Once saved reload site to confirm your site or application is now working as expected. |
